Functional Objective: Covers the ~4,500 Institutional Retail Outlets (IROs) operating in field, remote, and urban locations. Features Provisional Demand (PD) indenting to Regional Distribution Centers, offline-first POS billing on embedded business-local (.deb) terminals, Enterprise Employee / Beneficiary Smart Card & Quota Ledger validation, statutory public concession calculations, ESC/POS thermal printing, and cryptographically signed (Ed25519) background outbox sync with MeghRaj Cloud.


Air-Gapped IRO Offline POS Billing & Asymmetric Outbox Sync

Demonstrates 100% offline POS cashier checkout, smart card quota enforcement, statutory public concession discount, thermal printing, and seamless background sync upon network reconnection.


  • Provisional Demand (PD) Cycle: Indent submission (1st–3rd of month) based on historical off-take and available IRO budget.
  • Offline-First POS Checkout: Local cashier PIN login, item barcode scanning, grade-based quota enforcement (regulated commodities units and grocery limits), and instant invoice generation with 0ms network latency.
  • Public Concession & GST: Automated statutory public concession rebate computation and enterprise profit margin deductions compliant with ministerial regulations.
  • Zero-Secret Asymmetric Sync: Transactions signed locally with device Ed25519 private key; relayed to MeghRaj cloud via outbox micro-batches without exposing cloud DB credentials on disk.
